Lithium iron phosphate batteries refer to lithium-ion batteries that use lithium iron phosphate as the cathode material. The cathode materials of lithium-ion batteries mainly include lithium cobalt oxide, lithium manganese oxide, lithium nickel oxide, ternary materials, lithium iron phosphate, etc. Among them, lithium cobalt oxide is the cathode material used in most lithium-ion batteries.

 

When the LiFePO4 battery is charged, the lithium-ion Li+ in the positive electrode migrates to the negative electrode through the polymer separator. During discharge, the lithium-ion Li+ in the negative electrode migrates through the separator to the positive electrode. Lithium-ion batteries are named because lithium ions migrate back and forth when charging and discharging.

 

Features of lithium iron phosphate batteries

1.High efficiency output: standard discharge is 2~5C, continuous high current discharge can reach 10C, instantaneous pulse discharge (10S) can reach 20C;

2.Good performance at high temperature: the internal temperature is as high as 95°C when the external temperature is 65°C, and the temperature can reach 160°C at the end of battery discharge, and the structure of the battery is safe and intact;
